Welcome to my new blog.

I have always loved collecting stationery and being able to write to pen friends from around the world.  With moving numerous times including internationally, I lost touch of the pen friends I had in my teens and have just recently started writing to pen friends again.

There is nothing quite like a handwritten letter sitting waiting for you to read when you open your letter box.  I am doing bit to make sure that the lost art of handwriting and posting a letter by snail mail does not die out like so many other things have a tendency to do in this day and age.  Modern technology is great when it comes to the speed of being able to send a text or email and get an instant response back but it just isn't the same as receiving a handwritten written letter and happy mail that you know someone has taken the time out of their busy day to sit and write to you or create something crafty to send and you will have to treasure for ever more.

On this blog I aim to blog the snail mail that I send and receive.  Will be interesting to be able to look back on in time to come and see a record of the mail I have sent and received.
